I knew he was not coming to Davidson, but was under the impression that this was because he was no longer persuing basketball. I guess he just wasn't persuing basketball at Davidson. Rhode Island. I have to admit, I was on the Rhode Island bandwagon the year Tom Penders was coaching and they made a run in March. Of course the Wildcats weren't playing basketball anymore that year. Is Rhode Island the best R team?

Hopefully I am mixing up recruits, but I thought I read somewhere that Notre Dame is his dream school. I cannot find it now, so hopefully it was someone else.

Through all of this, my biggest takeaway is that these coaches are wonderful evaluators of talent. If our 3rd or 4th choice can consistently land us player of the year talent, I'll take it. These coaches need a raise.

At Davidson, on the other hand, no one has played four years and not made an NCAA appearance since the incoming freshmen of 1993. Most have been more than once.

I guess you could argue that they are due
