Re: Battle for Atlantis
Yes. I'm looking for a huge impact signing. Scoot said he wants an "... experienced portal point guard who can both shoot and dish." You say to stay tuned. I'm tuned. How long do I have to wait? Soon would be nice. We need players.

Tied at zero through 3. Warren Nolan says we'll take 2 of 3, then get swept at Mason. 7-17 in a bad league. I don't know how bright the future is, but it has to be better than the present.

Re: Battle for Atlantis
Depends on brackets, injuries, food poisoning, etc. A win would be nice. Two would be spectacular.

Re: A-10 Tourney Chances
I'd settle for top 4 every year and win the tournament every 6 years. We are very, very, very far from that. And there is no indication that we're headed toward that. In fact, we're headed briskly away.
We're 12-1 against the Bonnies. We must sweep this series.

Re: A-10 Tourney Chances
We should always make the A10 tournament. We should occasionally win it. It is a weak league and we have the best weather/earliest start in the A10. We are under-performing. I hear that in the off-season we are pulling the grass out of the outfield, laser leveling the outfield, and replanting. That'...

Close. Lost 8-6. 5-13 in the A10 now. Making the conference tournament seems unlikely. More unlikely, that is.

Re: Up next: Rhode Island
Weird bottom 7. One out, we get 3 straight doubles. One run in, runners at 2 and 3. Calero rips a ball up the middle. It hits the pitcher's foot (umps rule that it did so on the fly), ricochets to the 1st baseman for an out, he throws it to 3rd for the 1,3,5 double play. URI ties it at 6 in the 8th.

Competing today. Down 2-0, tied it at 2, down 5-2, tied it at 5. Still 5-5 in the 7th.

Re: Up next: Rhode Island
True. "Superb" may be too strong. I think he's fine and would be better on a better team. Davidson can't afford O'Linger, unless you are thinking as a head coach. Even then, probably way too expensive.
