Re: Up next: at Duke
For some good high school baseball our Cornelius, NC Hough High School may be worth a watch. They have one of the top couple of pitchers in the country - Tyler Baird. As well, the 13th ranked player in the 2026 class is Jaxon Matthews. Baird is scheduled to be a 1st round draft pick. It will be inte...

Re: Up next: George Washington
They have injuries. The game is on. They don't write articles with explanations about the injuries.

Re: Bye Bye UMass
Even if it the a10 looked as though it were going to fall apart, its hard to point to the MAC as a place UMass should want to be for basketball, its not a good conference and its certainly not any closer geographically for umass. Its a football move pure and simple, and if Umass wants to focus on t...

Re: 24-25 Roster
It is my impression that Grant and David don't plan on using their extra "COVID" year at Davidson. They may or may not intend to play elsewhere (I have no idea), but at this point, I don't think there is any plan to continue at Davidson.

Sam is doing a great job. Works very, very hard at his craft and is always trying to get better.
Davidson is a small part of his “voice” business. He is doing a lot of business with High Point, Clemson and others. He is passionate about what he does.

Re: In Game: vs. La Salle
CollegeCoach, I believe Matt McKillop, and his staff, are good coaches, however, Matt took over a highly successful program. His father, on the other hand, took over an absolute dumpster fire. There is no comparison. Lots of comparisons. You just like to knock a coach with a winning record thus far...

Re: In Game: vs. La Salle
Some of us just want to see a competitive and watchable product occasionally win the A10 tourney and/or the regular season title. Bob McKillop met these expectations, so it can be done. Bob McKillop is a Hall of Fame coach. Bob McKillop did not have a season at Davidson above .500 until his 5th yea...

Re: Future opponents
I think the point is to have a schedule that enables our team to have a successful season, win the conference and go to the NCAA championship. Man, I wish Abell would schedule so we could have that kind of success. Oh wait..... I'll trust his scheduling if we continue to have the PFL success we have...

Re: In Game: vs. La Salle
So we’ve been relegated to giving away free seats to attract a decent crowd? Sad, just sad. I hope Matt can turn things around, but the clock is ticking. If we have a mediocre team again next year, recruiting may ratchet down another notch. Things can go sideways for long periods of time, even at s...

Re: Other scores
I went down to Columbia to see Kentucky v. USC. Absolutely great atmosphere , but not a sellout (pretty close). I think, like many other bldgs, it's too big. (I've heard that they may come close to selling out the women, but I'm not sure). Maybe it was built before the Internet and certainly Smartp...
