CLUNIE
Thanks for providing the video. I am really glad to hear him emphasize student athletics within the wider vision of what Davidson College wants to be, not just how we compete in the A10 or whether we make the NCAA tournament. It really sounds like a little bit of Bob McKillop's dedication to student...

Tiger
I don't know what it will take for Tiger to make the next step up, but so far, his play has a certain monotonous pattern: Play well enough to make the weekend cut and then move up the leaderboard too liitle and too late. He was never a "come from behind" golfer, even in his heyday. However, he no lo...

$10 million
The power of American capitalism. I'm sure they can find the advertisers and networks to put up the money and advertise it. They may be past their prime, but they are still a known draw for sponsors.

Nice finish with both hands. She looks rather small: @ 5'8"?

Tiger
He did say he was going to take a break to work on his game (next scheduled tournament in D.C. this summer). I would not bet against him in any particular tournament, but I don't find it advisable to install him as a favorite after three or four appearances on the tour. He did make the cut on Friday...

Tiger
It should be noted that he is currently 13 strokes off the lead. Not going to win it, but better than 20 (depending on what Reed and McIlroy do this afternoon.

All-State
I did not mean to denigrate Laura, and I am surprised that sources with regard to AP First-Team All-State seem to be in conflict. It seems to vary by state as to whether playoffs, All-State teams or other recognitions cross over class lines. As I recall, in New Jersey, where I grew up, there was rec...

All-State
Good to know! However, it appears Laura Murray was first team AAA, where there was also a AAAA first-team All-State. Chloe Welch seems to be honored across all classes in her state. Likewise, MacKenzie was AP first team All-State seemingly without regard to the class to which her high school belonged.

Chloe Welsh
Congrats to Chloe and Coach Fulks. I'm not a wizard, but I'm not sure I can remember the last time our women's coach recruited a "First Team All-State" player.

Luka
An actual translation would be "neither Brajkovic nor the small university in North Carolina are unfamiliar to Korner". Remember, Korner coaches in Germany (Bayreuth), not Austria where Luka plays and was familar with both because Luka was invited to training in Bayreuth, and DeMon is one of his pla...

Luka
Actually, at 6'9", he is shorter than I had originally thought. Although he noted that we were graduating four seniors, I'm not sure how aware he was of Nate, Bates and Dusan. He is obviously highly regarded, but will not be without competition for playing time.

Point Guard
Who played the point today when KiShawn was not in the game (nice to see him play 25 minutes)?

Thanks! Now do we have to keep KP from coming down with arthritis to have a point guard? Or do people feel like JAG can grow into that role?
