Re: Swimming at A10 championships

Does that 500m time meet the NCAA qualifying standard? The 500 (yard) time meets the "B" requirement. As of a few days ago, that time would be 36th in Division I. The selection process is....complicated. So I'm not sure that time would make it. Dylan split a 1:32.22 in the 200 free on the end of th...

espn.com says ESPN+
So a sporadic streaming of the contest, with some black screens and/or the "this event is currently unavailable" scroll. Got it.

Swimming at A10 championships

New school 500 free record by Dylan Felt, as he won the event in 4:16.58. This is a ridiculous time.

Re: In Game: vs. Fordham

It seems like the college could put together some type of communications minor and tap some eager beaver students to do most of the grunt work for these broadcasts and game day activities. It would be great experience and maybe we could get better results. I still don't remember seeing a video repl...

UNCG beat #1 Wake Forest 4-3. It's good we don't play UNCG this year.
Wake Forest has a number of players in the top 100 college prospect list. The highest rated of those, Nick Kurtz, went 0-5 with 2 Ks.
UNCG did just enough to hold on at the end. Wake is overrated.

Travis Ford not wearing the athletic pullover tonight. Went with a suit. Perhaps they feel worse canning him if he’s dressed up nicely.

Re: In Game: vs. La Salle

I'm too lazy to quote pieces of posts, but... I got yelled at by a grumpy old man for booing loudly at the game on Saturday. Specifically, they called Grant for a carry and ignored the GMU player doing the same thing on the very next possession. Davidson is slow to change, but apparently the student...

This may belong in the recruiting thread. Or the NLOS one. But we’ll put it here.

Des made clutch-time free throws. How about that.

...2. Wouldn't you have to assume we would lose the 1130 game to fly back later that day?
Pretty sure that was Dorp's point.
