Great Scoop! You must have great sources.
I have heard rumours for next year but nothing certain yet.

First time poster and father of a current player. I follow the board closely though haven't posted as of yet. Very curious if you are able, or willing, to share the rumors. Also, do you happen to know if we are playing at San Diego this year? It would make sense that we will do so, but I know that conference teams sometimes fall off our schedule for a period of time.

Re: Future opponents
All PFL opponents from 2023 will remain the same with home/away sites flipping, so they will go to San Diego this season and not play St. Thomas or Drake for the second straight season.BigKahuna wrote: ↑Tue Jan 30, 2024 3:59 pmFirst time poster and father of a current player. Re: Future opponents
Thanks. Given the oddity with Dayton last year - playing them at home for 2 years in a row - I wasn't sure. Any idea as to who replaces VMI on the schedule this year?

Re: Future opponents
Not sure who the FCS scholarship opponent will be. I believe Barton and Catawba are two of our non-con games. We should expect a schedule soon since it's usually announced by mid-February.

I'm pretty certain that the other team I heard was Shorter.

But I thought Barton was off. I don't recall the third. Catawba, Shorter, somebody.

Re: Future opponents
I know that one of our opponents will be very "Patriotic". It should be announced soon.
Re: Future opponents
Georgetown? Yeah, that's the three I heard. Catawba, Georgetown, Shorter. But that was several months ago. We'll see.

Well, two out of three ain't bad.

Georgetown and Catawba are right, Point is the third team. A little disappointed we'll play another NAIA team but they're still more competitive than St. Andrews.

Re: Future opponents
Point? Well, I guess they are a level or two removed from College of Faith and perhaps St Andrews.
I will not be at that one.

One is tempted to ask, "What is the Point?"
