Furple eliminates WCU in OT. Didn't expect that.
The final line I saw was Furman by 1.5 points. Hard to beat the defending champs.
Hard to lose that game to Furman.

Also hard to lose your coach the next day. ugh. https://www.wbtw.com/news/grand-strand/ ... ead-coach/

Inevitable, but still disappointing to happen after only 2 years. Also, Gray could have done better than Coastal Carolina. CCU has never been consistently good even under Cliff Ellis (.567 winning percentage and 2 NCAA appearances in 16 seasons), and the Sunbelt is no improvement over the Southern. They must have offered a big salary upgrade, as well as access to a wad of NIL money.

WCU actually got a coaching upgrade. Great hire. Maybe the 12/2 game was an interview.

:D We'll have to rebuild player-wise, but I'm eager to see Coach Craft get started.

CCU a strange landing place. Salary increase without the headache and pressure of P6 high expectations?

I've never watched him coach so I'll take your word for it, but with one Big South Tournament title along with never winning the regular season title (one second-place finish) in eleven seasons isn't an intriguing resume.
