Newest Kool Aid recruiting thread
Re: Newest Kool Aid recruiting thread
Based on several recent anecdotes, I don’t get the impression we are pulling big levers in the NIL space.

Braeden Smith, 6'0 PG, Soph., Colgate visited Davidson this weekend per report. Would be an ideal addition.

He had a visit scheduled to Davidson but never made it as he committed to Wyoming after his visit there.

Re: Newest Kool Aid recruiting thread
Things I just learned while looking up something else: Dylan Warlick decommitted from Wyoming after Coach Jeff Linder left for an assistant job at Texas Tech. Lindner was replaced at Wyoming by Sundance Wicks who left UWGB after only one season, and is being replaced by Doug Gottleb, a radio talk show host. Sundance Wicks and his wife have a son named Skywalker Wicks. I never would have known any of this before the internet.

"We were in the center ring the whole night,'' longtime Davidson coach Bob McKillop said. ''We were not on the ropes. We were not on the mat. We were in the center ring slugging away, and we just ran out of time.''

According to Warlick’s high school coach, he is the ultimate team player whose only goal is winning. Warlick, who is known for his relentless intensity and physicality, led his team to back-to-back state titles. He sounds like a perfect fit for Davidson.

Dylan Warlick is a relentless competitor. He reminds me in some ways of David Roddy, a player Davidson offered who ultimately went to Colorado State and is now in the NBA. Obviously only our coaches know if they still view Dylan as a fit given the lineup changes over the last year since we offered him. But, I know he will be a very good player for someone.

"North Dakota transfer Tyree Ihenacho has committed to Washington, his agent Jack Lieb of Fraction told ESPN."
Never thought I would see press announcements attributed to "his agent" for kids who are still playing college ball.
