The high end smarts of one-time Paladin great Greg Dunn offsets some of this.
That said, it might take several CA's just to cancel out Fessor Leonard.
Bottom line, Furman probably deserves their own sub-thread of the No-Limit thread.

Selective memories? You mean like Joe Williams not remembering that he gave Baron Hill $1000?MikeMaloy15 wrote:Selective memories? This from fans of the valiant, brilliant team who chose to make a two pointer at the buzzer when down by three to nearly beat the Cats in 1981*, who nearly scored in the first 8 minutes of the game at Belk in 2008, and who have personally wet themselves in nearly every game against Davidson since their 1981 struggle with single digits arithmetic?
The ones for whom Elite Eight has for a generation meant winning a play-in round game in the SoCon tournament?
Those guys?
"We were in the center ring the whole night,'' longtime Davidson coach Bob McKillop said. ''We were not on the ropes. We were not on the mat. We were in the center ring slugging away, and we just ran out of time.''
I believe they may also have made it to the first tv timeout of the 2d half without markingMikeMaloy15 wrote: who nearly scored in the first 8 minutes of the game at Belk in 2008

They finally scored in the 2d half with 14:28 to go. At that point they had 24 points after 25 and 1/2 minutes. The game was not as close as the score indicates (86-51).
That was the game where Will A went off and Andrew leaped sky high off the bench after Civi's highlight drive and hoop.
"Then they started making 3s. A lot of 3s. We're talking more 3s than a bad dating site."

I'm glad he sold it. He'd made several unwatchable pieces of garbage in a row. The new one is a treat.

+1. I was lmao...and I didn't even know what that meant--I asked the wife. I thought, as I read, that our people would have banned or locked, or both...and then, there it was: locked. So there is that....mccabemi wrote:Absolutely fantastic.raptorcat wrote:Whoa. Is that guy for real on the Billikens' board?
