Houston Rockets fans chanting "M-V-P" at James Harden. So far this year, Harden is 10-39 from the floor, 3-22 on 3s, and his +/- is -42. Last year's real MVP is 23-41, 9-21, and +24. And the pretender is 0-2 on the season. Real guy is 2-0.

Yep. Looks like the voters got that one right.

From all that I've read about Harden's reactions/statements re: Curry getting the award, the only MVP that Harden has earned is Most Vicious Person. His negativity and "chip on his shoulder" attitude will damage his future both as a player and as a person. Were the situation reversed, Steph would have handled it in a adult- and sportsman-like way; and that difference makes SC a deserving MVP on a much higher level.

As a side note, Curry's gentlemanly, gracious behaviors are so consistent with the mentor from whom he learned so much -- Bob McKillop.

Years from now, when people look back on the list of NBA MVPs, no one will point to 2015 and say that's a year that really stands out as a time when the voters got it horribly wrong.

Especially when the performances of the half dozen best guys are pretty close in terms of stats, the MVP award often, and often rightly, goes to the best player on the best team. Steph would point to the words "best team" as the thing that stands out in that sentence. Best guess from his actions and words is that his top goal is a ring, not the MVP award.

Harden could take notes. But if he prefers to stew, and to allow that stewing to lead to an extended period of 10% shooting from beyond the arc, I say have at it.

An observation from Cap't Obvious: Camelot's T.C.C. travels well, well beyond this magical city's borders. A more admirable DU gentleman can not be found in all the land.

Dukies got royally screwed by refs or by the universal moderators of Karma yesterday against Miami. Why u ask would Duke get punished so severely for having such bad K-Karma? Go figure :P  :o

Will be interesting to see if there is still any accountability whatsoever in American culture, or will these buffoon refs get participation trophies for having been there swallowing their flags and not choking. Oh wait, that's exactly what they did.

The officiating crew has been suspended by the ACC. The conference cited 2 problems with the crew's handling of the final play. One call, if made correctly, would have ended the play without the Miami TD.

This loss may be a favor to Duke. Who wants to play Clemson in the ACC Championship? The Tigers will be looking to run up the score to secure a bid to the Final Four, or whatever it's called.
