Media types for the club should save all photos they get where an opponent has a handful of shirt, especially where the shirt is being pulled far away from his body as he is trying to move. Use them liberally in media, programs, arena posters, etc. Get the meme set in the fans' minds and it will filter down to the refs.

As his star rises, he should get the Bird/Magic/Michael 'no touch' treatment anyway. If he gets to the line every time they grab his shirt, he'll get more FTs than Harden even.

The Panda's Friend post has two great Davidson connections.

1) The Malice in the Palace brawl in Detroit that Ron Artest helped start took place on 11/19/04, the same day Davidson beat Missouri on the road in the Paige Arena, which was soon renamed.

2) Panda Friend's 5 fouls in less than a minute reminds us of KD's 4 fouls in 38 seconds against the Wahoos in Charlotte. After a rest and maybe some coaching, KD returned to the floor and played a minute more before drawing his 5th foul.

Didn't the Player Formerly Known as Ron Artest also finish second to Emeka Erege in some sort of NY POY as a senior in high school?

That's a clever bit of comedy.

First couple of paragraphs are a chuckle. Continuing on for 6 or 7 more paragraphs indicates that Ken may need to find a hobby. Basketball?

Amherst expels student for getting a Lewinsky while blacked out. http://www.mindingthecampus.org/2015/06 ... the-trial/

Will it hurt recruiting?

I know it's unintentional, but this kind of language is actually offensive and perpetuates the stereotype that women who perform sex acts are shameful, while men that receive them are just being men. Monica Lewinsky herself has a brilliant TED talk on the topic.

It takes two to tango.

I'm okay demeaning Monica by saying someone "gave a Lewinsky" just as much as I am saying that someone "got a Clinton".

Both shameful and both inexcusable.

Unfortunately, society gave one person a much bigger pass on the issue than the other. For that, I understand your comment.

But Stan wrote "getting a Lewinsky." He didn't write "getting a Clinton." In that choice of words, one doesn't distribute the shame across both actors. It's focused on one: the woman.

Yes, there were two people involved. One continued to be the leader of the free world. The other person involved has been the subject of shame and ridicule for her entire adult life.

Getting a Clinton is something I daresay many would secretly be proud to claim. Giving a Lewinsky can ruin your life though. We have a double standard for sex acts.

Read the transcript of the TED talk. It's pretty eye opening.
And then, go back to talking about basketball.

I'm so amused by Limbaugh calling someone else a slut, that I don't quite get around to the larger context.
