I recall some fairly declarative statements not long ago indicating that we "would" sign another player to join JAG in this year's freshman class. Any thoughts as to whether that is a probability, a possibility, or unlikely at this point? Seems kind of late, but you never know.

wftc was probably alluding to Kishawn Pritchett being a freshman this year, eligibility-wise.

Dusan, as well. Interesting class breakdown for our current scholarship situation (not counting anything I might not be aware of regarding a scholarship being awarded to a senior walk-on, or a potential transfer):

Seniors: 2
Juniors: 6
Sophs: 0
Frosh: 3

I agree that likely the 2017 and 2018 classes each will include 3-4 players. Probably 2019, as well. That class of 2017 has so much opportunity in front of it. Apprentice as freshmen, start as sophomores. Or, just start as freshmen :)

Any word on how Kishawn is progressing? If this is classified intel given the rule concerning The Topic That Can Never Be Discussed, please pm me.

Andrew Platek with a new video interview on Scout. The article the video is embedded in isn't accessible without premium, but you can view the video from the Videos tab in his Scout profile. Mentions Davidson as well as the other schools he's considering.

Mentions Kellan Grady and the possibility of playing with him as a reason to visit us. Also said he plans to cut down to 4 or 5 schools very soon, and that it is reasonable to expect that Indiana, Stanford and UNC will be among those.

He'd fit into the Davidson system perfectly.

Tonight we offered Luke Frampton from West Virginia. We've had reported interest in him for awhile, he's a big time shooter. I'd expect with the second live period ending there will be a bunch of reported offers coming soon.

Billy Pierce, I'm thinking. Class of 1971.
