Darryl Morsell revealed his top 5 schools today, and we are not among those schools. No surprise since we haven't been mentioned with respect to him much since we offered, but now we know for sure our focus lies elsewhere. Among his final 5 schools is one A10 school, Dayton.

His grandfather was a Carolina Cougar. He was one of the best 3 point shooters in the ABA before anyone figured out hitting 33.3% of your 3's was the same as 50% of your 2's, at a time very few guys hit 50% of their 2's.

Tomas Murphy just committed to Northeastern. Not a surprise he didn't commit to us considering his lack of mentioning of Davidson, also his stock seemed to dip quite a bit in the last year, as he was a minor factor on the NMH team. Good luck to him in his future endeavors.

Also worth noting that with his commitment and Kyle Young cutting us from his list, we don't have any reported offers out to big men (unless you want to classify Walter Whyte as an undersized 4, which I would not)

Amazing stat line.. over 40% from behind the arc as a Cougar.

"Dots" is a pretty odd name for a team. But it is perfect for a team from Poca.

Until today I had never heard of Georgian Court University, a NCAA Division II school, which I learned all about the wonderful internet. When was the last time we were in competition with a Division II school for a basketball player?

With his name, he could run for office in Cornelius or Huntersville.
