2017 Jersey Shore Warriors F Taylor Funk drawing new interest from Davidson & Quinnipiac. Taking official visit to St. Joe's on Tuesday.
6'8, 217. ESPN gives him 3 stars and a 77 score. This A10 thing is working out for us.
Good recruiting Funk to be in.

Updates approximately every fifth page on this thread (or when drivel crosses 99% threshold). Comments, corrections, and additions welcome: public, PM, or by email. My scholarship math is not as fine-tuned as Acorn's, so proofreading/info in that realm will be appreciated.

The Kool-Aid list reflects publicly available sources, typically internet recruiting sites (e.g., Rivals.com, Verbalcommits.com, Twitter, etc.), and published reports. The list is maintained for entertainment purposes only. It contains no information received from coaches or recruits. waitress takes full responsibility for any omissions, typos, or other errors.

Back-of-the-envelope scholarship count:Davidson gets thirteen scholarships. For the 2016-2017 season, Davidson presumably has 11 of 13 scholarships used by: McAuliffe & Gibbs ('17); Aldridge, Ekwu, Magarity(RS), Michelson, Reigel, & Watkins ('18 ); Gudmundsson, Kovacevic(RS), & Pritchett(RS) ('20).

I'm not sure it applies in every state, but I know here in New York school districts are required to include home-schooled students on their athletic teams in order to meet state requirements for physical education.

Archie Miller offered Davidson target Brad Davison a scholarship recently. I hope Brad follows Archie's advice and accepts the Davidson offer instead.

We don't know what we don't know. Are our prior offers to point guards still on the table now that we have commitments from two point guards?

You could build a good college baseball team out of 9 high school shortstops. You can't make a good college basketball team out of 5 high school point guards.

With Jack being a senior next year, we will need another guy in the backcourt with KG.

I know that the Wizards speak in a veiled tongue. As with so many of your posts, wftc, your enigmatic statement can be interpreted several ways. Often it is what you don't say that proves the most enlightening. To whom do you refer to as that "other guy"? An existing team member? Or another, hitherto unknown guard?

I took "another guy" to mean someone in addition to KG and JAG, hence the offers to other guards presumably still in play.

And I'm not discounting continuing progress and lots of good minutes for JWat in his two final years.

There seems to be a general lack of awareness that wftc's first impulse is simply to stir the pot.

I think it's a fair question to ask and also depends how good JAG becomes and if he's a lead guard or develops into more of an off-ball guard.

It's also worth noting that the two teams in the national title game started two point guards (Arcidiacano/Brunson, Paige/Berry) as did many other teams in what is becoming a trend in college basketball.

We have plenty of room for another guard 2016 or 2017.

I think this is CA's cue to explain how bob likes to play 3 guards.
