"We needed more walk-ons than usual because 2015 recruits who medically redshirted are not 2026 recruits and we lost 3-4 players."

Not too sure what you are trying to say here. 2026 guys are only in 3rd grade.

I think we've beat this horse long enough. Time to move on to something else.

Agreed, and to get this thread back on track, reposting this from last week: https://twitter.com/luke_frampton/status/778706939962281989

Per Adam Finkelstein, Marshall just received a commitment from a power forward, which according to Verbal Commits was the last available scholarship they had for 2017. Since he doesn't play the same position as Frampton and since other schools don't necessarily abide by the same standards as us (influencing certain kids to transfer) I wouldn't rule out Marshall as a destination for Frampton yet, but definitely a good sign for us.

I would assume (unless Frampton has told them something already) that they would "find" a scholarship for him if that's where he decides to go.

Of course, apparently Marshall knew already :)

If anyone has any inside info about what this means for our pursuit of Whyte, I wouldn't mind a PM. So pumped about Luke!

No inside info but they are different players with different skill sets, so I would imagine we would still be heavily pursuing Whyte (although we are competing against more schools for him).
