My high school was in a conference with a school team that featured Dominique Wilkins. On at least one occasion my school employed an extremely slow pace to attempt to negate him. Most HS has no shot clock. Poca's opponents tried to slow the game way down. Ultimately Frampton's team won 35-30, and he had 14 (including clutch free throws to seal the deal).

I attended many of their games in the second hand smoke testing facility/Airplane Hangar known as the Winston-Salem Coliseum.
pretty good team, but in typical "Gentleman" Carl Tacy fashion they never went far in the tournament. One year they were beaten by BC and 5-9 Michael Adams, the next year by Memphis State and Keith Lee.
I played in a pickup game with Alvis Rogers once. He was not pleased with something I did, or more likely my existence.
