Dayton is again a 5 seed. That won't last when Lunardi sees tonight's result.

Wow. Dayton stays at 5. I thought they would drop some. Richmond back in as a bid-stealing 12.

Richmond is the AQ 12 seed. Dayton is a 6. Much better than a 4 or 5.

I know Dayton has been ranked a lot and their bracketology has been good, but 3rd in the A-10 with 4 conference losses? They might have to win the tournament to get in.

Dayton is down to a 7 this time. Richmond still at 12 as an AQ.

Bracketology has Dayton as an 8 seed. So does bracketmatrix. Duquesne would get a 12 or 13, VCU a 12.

We aren’t a 3bid conference

And not a one bid league.

Dayton and the Dukes. Two-bid league.
Spidey and VCU to the NIT?

i77 was saying Duquesne/VCU was an "either/or" choice of the winner. Not both.
I think.

#7 Dayton vs #10 Nevada in SLC. Good pairing for the Flyers.
#11 Duquesne vs #6 BYU at Omaha.
VCU and Richmond not in the field.

Since Richmond and Loyola tied for the regular season title, do they both get auto bids to the NIT? VCU a possible third bid?

The NCAA, which runs the NIT, trashed the rule that a regular season conference champion that was not selected to the NCAA Tournament would receive a bid to the NIT.
This was done to allow more bids for Power Conference teams that failed to make the NCAA Tournament. They are going to invite Power Conference teams with overall losing records, if they think they are worthy.
One or two A10 teams will probably receive NIT bids this season, if the Power Conference Non-NCAA invitees do not fill the bracket.
Indiana State will receive an invitation.
