I went into the record book to refresh my memory and of course the Wizards are correct. I noted though that Young Buck is in the record book twice, longest field goal-52 yards and the second most yards punting in a season (which might be more reflective of how often we punted versus how far Joe could kick).

Soccer style. In fact, Joe was the first such for Davidson.Waitress wrote: ↑Fri Dec 29, 2023 12:24 pmStraight-on or soccer style?Steve Rodgers wrote: ↑Thu Dec 28, 2023 8:56 pmI went into the record book to refresh my memory and of course the Wizards are correct. Re: Up next: Ohio
Harking back to Citycat’s post referencing the great Revolutionary War General Wayne, numerous municipalities across America have been named in honor of this war hero, including the town next to Cedar Grove, the Jersey village in which I grew up. One of the best fast food restaurants in Wayne was a mostly hot dog joint named “Mad Anthony Wayne’s” which my family frequented often in the summer months. Many, many decades later I took my son to Mad Anthony’s and to impress him I told our server: “we came here when you first opened.” His response: “what, 8:30 this morning?” “No 1955”, I corrected him. Regrettably, while the municipality remains, Mad Anthony’s has been relegated to the dustbin of history.

Perhaps YB was inspired by YG (Yepremian, Garo).wildforthecats wrote: ↑Fri Dec 29, 2023 1:26 pmSoccer style. He played soccer for Davidson, along with baseball, football, and JV basketball (I was told he played JV ball. I wasn't there to see it.).
In the Fall of '75, the Club Football team had an amazing kicker who wore a tattered jersey with no number. He routinely put kickoffs in the end zone. He was a good punter, too, but refused to tackle any returner who broke through the initial defenders.
YB also co-coached the '74-'75 Women's Basketball team that beat NC State in Johnston Gym. The next season, State was coached by Kay Yow.

Betting line says Cats by 1.5 with an over/under of 142.5
But ESPN analytics says Ohio has a 62.4% shot.
Massey says we're 84 playing 186. 62%. 73-69

Re: Up next: Ohio
getting back to MLC's post, there is/was a rock band named Fountains of Wayne, which I believe is/was the mall in Wayne, NJ.
Re: Up next: Ohio
While I have not traversed the entire boundaries of Wayne, the two shopping malls in town that I know of are both located together on Route 23 and the Passaic River. Their names are the Willowbrook Mall and the Wayne Town Center. Both experience significant parking lot flooding whenever sufficient rain fall causes the Passaic to overflow its banks.
