Like a bad penny
Will Wade won’t go away. McNeese State now 10-2 with a road win at Michigan. I’m sure everything is all above board, right? Right?!?
Re: Like a bad penny
You don't hire Will Wade in hopes that he'll run a clean program.

Re: Like a bad penny
The UNCC fans have decided they need to hire Will Wade. Maybe we can merge this thread and the UNCC post-game thread.
Re: Like a bad penny
With NIL money and paying players above board (assumed for sake of argument), will show-cause become a thing of the past?

For that matter, I am genuinely not sure what it means to not run a clean program now. Maybe hiring people to do the minimal schoolwork required to be a student in good standing?
I suppose paying players directly is still not allowed but given the minimal effort required to indirectly pay them you would have to be pretty dumb to do that.

I don’t think that would be illegal in Nevada, right?quickcat wrote: ↑Sat Dec 30, 2023 1:15 pmOK, I guess I could have been more creativeDC69Wildcat wrote: ↑Sat Dec 30, 2023 12:09 pmHiring prostitutes?quickcat wrote: ↑Sat Dec 30, 2023 11:18 amFor that matter, I am genuinely not sure what it means to not run a clean program now. Pitino already did it at Louisville.

Except in Clark County. Maybe elsewhere there could be a NIL deal.
But on campuses these days, couldn't they just volunteers?

Prostitues are fine as long as you make them available to the entire student body, per UNC's fraudulent classes defense (which was successful).

Speaking of the Tar Heels, I heard that Caleb Love was set to go to Michigan but there was an admissions issue so he went to Arizona.
