Battle of the Georges

GW is hosting Mason on CBSSN. Maybe 100 GW students have magically appeared on campus and in the arena. For a school with 11,500 undergrads, that's not a great turnout.

GW is up 20-8. If your guards are quick enough to stay in front of the GMU guards, they will settle for a long off balance 2.

I'd love to know how Garrett Johnson ended up at GW after starting his college career at Princeton.

29-12 GW. The refs are letting them bump and hack. We don't want these refs doing our game versus GMU.

37-24 at the half. GM is shooting around 7-31.

They had 2 fouls with about 30 seconds left in the half and fouled 3-4 times to prevent GW from getting a good shot on their last possession.

Tony Skinn, the coach of GMU, was a player for their Final Four team. He's a very well spoken guy and has a great story.

Jim Larranaga spotted him at a junior college and offered him a scholarship.

GMU has cut it to 40-31.
