Colt 45 Award: at St. Louis

Post by raptorcat » Mon Jan 22, 2024 4:43 pm

Wednesday night, covered by ESPN+.

With Durkin being a starter now, the race will tighten up with every succeeding game. Aside from Durkin, Logan and Spadone are neck-and-neck.

We currently have an extra frosty in the fridge.

I desperately want to have reason to cast my vote for Angelo Brizzi.
"We were in the center ring the whole night,'' longtime Davidson coach Bob McKillop said. ''We were not on the ropes. We were not on the mat. We were in the center ring slugging away, and we just ran out of time.''

I'd like to see this board have a heated debate between 3 deserving candidates for two frosties, but I'll settle for a breakout Gelo game.

Yes, Angelo. When he had only scored three points, he had already established himself with his defense and his ball distribution.

In a 7 minute span he scored 15.

Have we had a better half this season than tonight’s second half?

Brizzi! What a game, you can really see the potential to be a great player. Even more encouraging was him and grant being able to play together and keep the offense rolling late in the second half.

SLU is terrible, but that was a generally great performance for Angelo Brizzi and he earned the frosty. Hopefully this is a springboard for him and the team.
