In Game: at St. Louis
Re: In Game: at St. Louis
A fast-flowing half, but terrible shooting from both teams. Billikens are outperforming us in the paint. No surprise there.
Re: In Game: at St. Louis
Cats surgically attack the zone, and Reed misses the lay-in.
Re: In Game: at St. Louis
Did the female announcer see a 'U" in the McKillop name? She cannot pronounce McKillop correctly. Nor do they seem to have a clue about the names of some of our players. I guess next they will call Huffman "Hoffman." Well, back to watching.... Coach McKullup and the Davidson University team......Go Cats!

Feels like the foul calls are pretty uneven. We have gotten few calls on drives. Feel like every drive of theirs nets a call. Frustrating.

These Saint Louis players play out of control . . . and are eing rewarded.

Unbelievable! Cats run a great inbounds play with 0.5 seconds to go, Bailey blows the 2-footer.
"We were in the center ring the whole night,'' longtime Davidson coach Bob McKillop said. ''We were not on the ropes. We were not on the mat. We were in the center ring slugging away, and we just ran out of time.''
Re: In Game: at St. Louis
Get a great look at the hole from two feet at end of half. Shot had no hope of going in. Not even close.
"Then they started making 3s. A lot of 3s. We're talking more 3s than a bad dating site."

Reed just cannot hit the broad side of a barn. Great look with that lob at the end and no reward.

The two teams are 4-28 from three. Cats are a sizzling 4-16.

Davidson players not named Huffman are shooting 5-25. Grant is 5-8, including hitting his only three-point attempt.DC69Wildcat wrote: ↑Wed Jan 24, 2024 7:50 pmThe two teams are 4-28 from three. Cats are a sizzling 4-16.

Just now disconnecting my facepalm after we blew the unmissable shot at the end of the half.

I like seeing Jarvis on the court. Wish he was shooting better. Also like to see Hunter getting some minutes. He's physical and plays bigger than he is. He is also a reliable 3 point threat.

I assume that the Reed layup was going in before the goaltend was called, but maybe not?
