Unfortunately heard some rumor that’s Skogman could be out for the year, that he may need surgery on the foot. Can anyone confirm? Would be a really sad loss for this team, he’s had a great year.

We heard that rumor weeks ago. He's been playing through it. We'll see. He's a warrior.

What's the penalty for violating the Prime Directive? Banishment to the Neutral Zone?

I think this one is so public that it is safe. The player has already missed action due to the very obvious injury.

Apologies, did I miss something?

We have a policy to not talk about injuries unless they are public knowledge. David missed the Dayton game with the injury. He's had great games since, he's had ineffective games since. His foot/ankle is no secret.

I am new. Didn’t know that, I’ll be better!

The foot was certainly public with him missing games, but didn’t know if he would be shut down indefinitely.

This is an interesting thread to read and reread from time to time. It should remind us of how fortunate we are to have this message board, and help us realize that the civility that we enjoy is no accident. Its creators showed great wisdom when they established those rules. If you need any convincing, I invite you to occasionally (but not too often) visit the UNCC, UMass, SLU, Rhode Island, etc., boards, especially after a couple of losses.

It should also remind us all to send a donation when one has been requested, like now.

That was a great performance by Skogman. One of the best that any Wildcat ever had against UNCC. Get well soon.

It feels strange to be nostalgic about a box score from this season.

Jack Gibbs turns 29 today.

In 2015 he scored 41 points in Halton. Steph Curry was in attendance.

Skog is in great company.

Now that seems like ancient history. Great performance, Jack!
