Up next: at Loyola
Up next: at Loyola
But first, a lovely week off. Sunday, 2/4, go Cats.

Re: Up next: at Loyola
Loyola had student sections all the way down to the first row, in the two sections across from the benches and the one in between. Looked like a good idea.

Loyola has an enrollment of ~12,000, too. Surprisingly, their arena is 1,000 seats less capacious than Belk.
"We were in the center ring the whole night,'' longtime Davidson coach Bob McKillop said. ''We were not on the ropes. We were not on the mat. We were in the center ring slugging away, and we just ran out of time.''

For whatever reason, the Cats are playing better, or at least winning more, on the road. Time to pick up a W.

Overheard at the start of the 1982-83 school season:
"How tall are you, McConkey?"
"Six nine."
"You'd be six eleven if you stood up straight."
#40 was always pretty funny.

Question for the Wildcat archivists, have we ever played an opponent who had an X Wildcat playing on their roster? I have to think that in Wildcat B Ball history the odds say this had to have happened, but I do not remember of any.

No doubt.
The most recent one was last Saturday. Chloe Welch plays for St Joe's.

Re: Up next: at Loyola
Did we play Clemson when they had Chris Dodds?
I guess Tom Leifsen doesn't count. Or did we play Penn? Maybe I'm thinking of when I was at Wake Law. Penn had Fran McCaffery (or "White Tragic," as a friend of mine called him)

Nope on Dodds.
We played and beat Penn and Tom in 79-80. Don’t you remember when the students chanted, “where is your mommy now Tom, where is your mommy now.”
