Given that the ACC 'stole' the A-10 tournament location a few years back, how does this announcement impact future A-10 tournament locations? (have those been determined?)

Re: ACC Tournament
I hope the A10 plays more of their upcoming tourneys in DC (and nothern Va, when the Bullets*/Caps arena is built) even if they aren't displaced from Barclay's.
I would recommend they do that every other year.
I am much more likely to go up to DC, even if we are a middling team. Not even considering going to Bklyn this year. Too much of a hassle.
*Yes, I know they are called the Wizards, but I first typed in Bullets, so I'm going with that.

Re: ACC Tournament
1. A few years ago we played St. Joe's on Friday afternoon. I flew into NYC in what I thought was-and should have been-plenty of time. I got to the arena midway through or late in the first half. I'm sure not going to trust the airlines to get me to an 1130 game.
2. Wouldn't you have to assume we would lose the 1130 game to fly back later that day?

Re: ACC Tournament
Until my classmate in Alexandria retires and moves somewhere else, I have a free place to stay in the DC area. He will no longer attend any games with me since Davidson has lost the last five games, football and basketball, he saw. The women’s game at Mason was a disaster in more ways than one, and the GW game was snatching defeat from the jaws of victory. He did enjoy the pregame. So did I.
The team hotel in Brooklyn is a block or so from the Transit Museum, so I’m almost tempted to go. If I find myself in the mood to visit NYC and take in a game or two while there, that would not be the dumbest thing I ever did.
I had planned to go to the women’s tournament when I thought they would be in the top four. If they remain in seventh place, their first game would be at 5pm on Thursday, so Tim and I could drive up that day and drive back after their last game, but I’m not planning on it right now.

Pretty sure that was Dorp's point.

Re: ACC Tournament
Or if you only had one day to watch basketball. It may be cheaper to fly back and forth rather than stay in a hotel.
Re: ACC Tournament
The group rate at the team hotel is good until February 16, so if any of you want to stay there, book by then. Maybe the quota won’t fill up sooner.
If the men win the next two games, my thinking/feeling about going might change. Seeding could be a factor. I haven’t been to NYC since 2019, so maybe about time.
