UMass won by 10 at Richmond.
Bonnies won by 18 at Fordham.
Hawks waited too late to start the comeback, losing by 5 at Loyola.

We are currently in tenth place. This time last season we were about the same and ended up fourth, as I recall. The season isn’t over yet. A lot can happen.

Last season Davidson ended up 8–10 in conference—tied for eighth with St. Joe’s and the Bonnies (https://atlantic10.com/standings.aspx?standings=144).

The remaining seven games for Davidson (4–7) are:
1) @ St. Bonaventure (currently 6–6 in conference)
2) vs. Fordham (4–7)
3) @ Richmond (9–2)
4) @ Dayton (10–2)
5) vs. UMass (7–5)
6) vs. Loyola (10–2)
7) @ St. Joseph’s (6–6).

Davidson’s four A10 wins have come against teams that are 4–7, 4–7, 2–9, and 2–10.

If we get hot, we could win 3 more and finish 7-11. If we get crazy hot and some opponents collapse, we could finish better than 7-11. Of course, we could not get hot. Then those 3 wins would seem unlikely.

I watched the first half of Richmond v Mass. Every team has a game during the season where they just completely go off the rails and that first half was the Spiders’ time. Awful passing, clanking shots, totally checked out. I bailed at the half.

Au contrare, if we get hot we could easily win 6. Only Dayton would beat us if we get hot. Unless the other team got hot as well .Playing as we are now I expect to win at least 3.

Des made clutch-time free throws. How about that.

Win 6? Way less than a 5% chance. Talent mis-match. Our guys will play hard and they'll make teams struggle to beat them.

Cause we’re pesky like that these days.

Betting line says VCU over SLU by 4.5 points. VCU is an easy 10 point winner, right?

Travis Ford not wearing the athletic pullover tonight. Went with a suit. Perhaps they feel worse canning him if he’s dressed up nicely.
