Looks like toe on line to me
Shame. But right call.
Really? He backed off the line before the ball left his hand.

Still a decent effort when given a 37% chance of winning.
His last touch with that foot was across the line. He jumped back, but that doesn't matter.

I thought Kochera was over the back on the rebound as well.

We did a lot of good things. But we still do quite a few dumb thing. I am not sure why we put them on the line. They didn't beat us with a bucket but our fouls.

We just can't seem to put all the pieces together. Obviously Skogman would have been a big help.

Bummer.

I still don't like fouling there down 1 with a 5.9 second differential between the shot clock and game clock.
Totally different if they aren't in the double bonus, but they were. We fouled a guard who I assume is a good FT shooter, and the foul came before any attempt at a trap.
I would have played it out and made them take a shot unless Venning touched the ball.

Team couldn't have played with more resolve. Connor was amazing.

Absolutely infuriating. After seeing the replays and knowing what happened i think the refs made the right calls both with toe on the line (no doubt there) and not calling a foul, but hearing the announcers say over and over with complete confidence that there was a foul called only to find out there wasnt seeing Bonnies inbound to immediately kill the game was awful

Im in the boat of thinking you have to foul up 1 with 36 seconds left. I would have preferred we commit to a hard trap or make them get across half court first, but if they shoot a jumper with very little time on the shot clock by the time you corral a contested rebound and get the ball youre going to have to get an immediate desperation shot.

First, the Cocks blow a 14-point second-half lead to lose by 1 at home to LSU. Now this. An unhappy day at Chez WildCock.

It looked like Kochera stepped out of bounds before the shot, but the ref wasn't looking at the line. That isn't an error that can be corrected on the review. Our free throw shooting was suboptimal after halftime. 3-pt shooting was much better. Rebounding was solid. We dialed our turnovers down after halftime. Almost stole a great win.

This one hurt badly, the scars from turning a miracle win into a brutal defeat may just be permanent.

FWIW category, I thought the Bonnies made two endline violations in bounding the ball. I was pretty sure they did the quick toss in after Wildcat buckets while they were straddling the lines.

Put ten or fifteen pounds of muscle on Bailey next year and he could be pretty tough to handle in the post. GO CATS!

Just gut wrenching. Is there a way to send a few bottles of bourbon to the boys* and the coaches for their flight back? I know I need some after that.

(*Please note I do not condone underage drinking. It was just a rough loss.)

We were fairly hot today. They were hottter. It looks like Matt is testing lineups for the tournament.

They also committed a backcourt violation on the opening tip, which the refs didn’t call.
