Easter at Walgreens

I stopped by a random Walgreens today on the way to see Mom after church. While perusing the treat aisle, I heard what I thought was a familiar voice. I said to myself, “That sure sounds like x player that graduated from Davidson 40 years ago.” I was curious, so I walked closer to where he was standing, he turned my way and I said, “Well, hi there Kenny Wilson.” We chatted for a few moments. One of my favorite all time Wildcats. He moved to the area recently. I told him he needs to come to some games.

Happy Easter

He definitely has a distinctive voice. He makes John Wayne sound squeaky.

He needs to tell a large crowd his Digger Phelps story.

Many large crowds.

Today, Walgreens has Easter candy discounts as deep as Kenny Wilson’s voice.

It’s funny, I reminded Kenny that we played against each other in a 1986 YMCA 3 on 3 league. His team the Lakers beat us twice I believe. 8-)

Only wftc could identify a voice from 40 years ago sight unseen, at a random Walgreens. I never cease to be amazed. I hope wftc donates his brain to science when he's no longer in need of it.

Garrett went to HS in Austin. That was maybe 6 years ago.
