Up next: at VPI
Up next: at VPI
Massey says it is #186 at #39. 10% chance. 58-74. We're better than #186. Unfortunately, VPI is probably better than #39. The coaches' poll has them at 3rd in ORV. The AP poll ranks them #24. Tuesday at 5pm. Go Cats.

Excited for my first chance to see the team. Hope we get the second half Wildcat team from the Newberry game from the opening tip.

Tough start. Lot of length and sharpshooter for the Hokies. Tough to defend.
Re: Up next: at VPI
The gap between ranked and #186 is enormous.

Thanks.
Good effort, looks like. I have to believe we'll shoot better than that going forward.

Wow! Kitley (all 6' 6" of her) scored 34 on 17-21 shooting. The Hokettes had 21 assists, I suppose of which 17 were to Kitley.i77cat wrote: ↑Thu Nov 11, 2021 10:35 pmCould be worse: https://www.espn.com/womens-college-bas ... /401369346
"We were in the center ring the whole night,'' longtime Davidson coach Bob McKillop said. ''We were not on the ropes. We were not on the mat. We were in the center ring slugging away, and we just ran out of time.''
Re: Up next: at VPI
Ralph Kitley played at North Rowan and Wake. IIRC he’s now in school administration in Guilford County.
Re: Up next: at VPI
Ralph’s dad was a good friend of mine. His mom was a close friend of one of my parishioners. That was back when I paid some attention to the ACC, with allegiances shifting by my connection with people and places. While Ralph was there, I reverted to being a Wake fan.
So she is Ralph’s daughter and my friends’ granddaughter? Or I’m a generation off? I realize in many cases I am now older than the grandparents of many players.
