Tell that to the people at the NCAA who run the NET. We dropped from 41 to 47 overnight after “only” winning by 19.

The NCAA NET ranking has a number of factors - efficiency being a part of it, but scoring margin is capped.

"Scoring Margin

This value has a point differential capped at 10 points in each game. All overtime games are capped at one point.
Scoring Margin equals team score minus an opponent's score."

Our NET will move up nicely with today's road win.
