14-2 run to close the half. 27-18 at the break.
"We were in the center ring the whole night,'' longtime Davidson coach Bob McKillop said. ''We were not on the ropes. We were not on the mat. We were in the center ring slugging away, and we just ran out of time.''

27-18, halftime. Held 'em to 4 that quarter.

We may have avoided the technicals if the ref had made a demonstrative foul call. The foul was called on Nolan, but it wasn't clear at first. Even the announcers thought no foul had been called.

We really reacted well to Gayle's well earned ejection and Dunn's injury. (Frankly, they would have thrown me out of the gym if I had been there).

I wouldn't be surprised if a Rambler hits the floor pretty hard at some point in the game.

The Loyola play-by--play (if accurate, who knows) shows the technicals were called before the foul. I didn't see a foul called on the actual play.

In the replay I saw on ESPN+, Gayle walked in front of our bench and all the way off the court before kicking the trash can, which was at the entrance to the tunnel. It didn't look like a big deal, and it could have easily been ignored, but the announcers said it made more noise than expected. The T was an unnecessary call.

The ESPN play-by-play and the Loyola live stats both show that the foul was called on Nolan at 5:44.

Millie picks up her 3rd foul on an atrocious offensive foul call. One ref called it a charge, the other called it a block. I have no idea how that gets resolved, but it was not to our favor.

Offense has gone cold. Having a hard time knocking down open looks.

Absolutely terrible possession by Davidson at the end of the 3rd. Still leading by 4.

35-31 after 3. Plank leading the way with 12, Donovan second with 8.

Prior down with an ankle injury. I just kicked a trash can.

Why did the officials stop the play when they had a player go down and we had the advantage?
