Friday, Saturday, Sunday.
Gonna rain around an inch on Saturday. Double-header on Sunday? Or just play one on Friday and Sunday?

Our ERA will be >10.00 after this game, joining SBU and Fordham in the bottom 20 of the 295 D1 teams.

Brown’s admission standards are more difficult than ours, except for Presidents’ kids.
We have scholarships. They do not.
We’re in the South. They’re in the North.
We should win 2 out of 3 against Brown. It’s still possible.

Warren Nolan thought we'd sweep Brown. They are 224 in the RPI, we're 198. Gonna swap places tonight.

Brown came into this game averaging 4 runs per game. They managed 16 runs on 18 hits, 6 BB, 1 HBP, and 4 errors. Last year was tough after Carico broke his hand, but we did have Bennett Flynn, Will Schomberg, and A.J. Pabst on the pitching staff, so although the team ERA was not good (7.18), it wasn't awful. This season is shaping up to be awful.

Yep. We're 232 now. Brown is 170. Warren Nolan has us winning twice today. That'd be a happy surprise. We look to have two starting pitchers. We used one (poorly) yesterday.

Cats drop the 2nd game of the series, 6-4..
The good news is that Matt Weber pitched great in relief of Cavanaugh, and we gave up only 5 earned runs in 7 innings, which will lower our team ERA back below 10.00.
