CHAPEL HILL The commission that accredits UNC-Chapel Hill is raising new concerns about its integrity, saying that the university "was not diligent" in providing information about an academic fraud scandal and that two UNC employees did not tell all they knew about "abnormal activity" during the commission's first investigation last year.

I don't think anyone really expects a university to be forthcoming. As a general rule, I expect a state university to be about as honest as a politician and a lot less accountable.

Two entries from my local paper today: jailhouse switcheroo, and don't mess with a sushi chef (100 yards from my house)

Waitress, your two tales somehow reminded me of the one by Robert Fulghum (All I ever need to know I learned in Kindergarten) about the guy found in a burning bed who claimed "It was on fire when I laid down on it."

You don't want to mess up an expensive knife on a cheap crook. The chef would have probably done a skillful job slicing the guy up, though.

The other story reminds me a bit of the true story behind the movie I Love You, Phillip Morris.

Too lazy to start a new thread entitled - No Limit on Really Smart. What Urban Meyer has just accomplished with a third string QB is beyond imagination.

Accordingly, the amount of money that universities will spend to hire name coaches just became too excessive to even count up accurately.
