Chaz Surrat a QB at E.Lincoln passed on his lifelong dream to play football for UNC and committed to Duke because he was worried about sanctions. He recently decomitted to Duke and is now back on with UNC football and may walk on for MBB. He was told something.

Maybe they just lied to him.

Wow. Someone needs to muzzle Bubba. He sounds dumber every time he speaks to the press. It wasn't a significant number of women's basketball players who received improper benefits? Any number above zero is significant.

Bubba (et al) have saved the season and not worsened their recruiting situation. They will be called on the carpet in April when the NCAA will give them a big hug for their latest "self reporting" and their desire "to do the right thing. I'm sure recruits (i.e Surratt) are being assured that this thing has been handled. Rest assured, MBB wil be protected.

Dent admits that he has not taken the class, nor has he read any of the books on the list, but he still felt the course was too one-sided.

That would be one of the funniest things I have read in a long time if it weren't so sad.

The funniest thing is that the kid is a journalism major.

That's not funny.

Really? It strikes me as hilarious that an aspiring journalist would reach a strong opinion and seek to alter a university's course offering without doing his research. It seems to fit perfectly in the No Limit on Stupid thread. UNC has a good journalism school. I'm sure someone, probably several someones, will counsel this young man.

In the article, there is a quote that says he wanted to make sure the course is "fair and balanced". His words. That is funny, I hope regardless of your political leanings.

Of course, I'm not ruling out the fact that the actual journalist put those words in his mouth. It won't stop me from laughing though.

"We were in the center ring the whole night,'' longtime Davidson coach Bob McKillop said. ''We were not on the ropes. We were not on the mat. We were in the center ring slugging away, and we just ran out of time.''
