One of my favorite opponents of all time. We've played them 45 times. We're 26-19.

Butler favored by 17.5 tonight. Go Bucs!

20-45 at the half. Butler looks good.

Butler is killing. No Mister Jennings sighting.

Re: Up next: at ETSU
Are we sure its on ESPN plus? The Davidson schedule on our athletic page doesn't say that, not that I trust our own site.
Also, there is no television listed for St. Mary's. Does anybody know anything about that game.

Never trust our site. Always check our opponent sites. It probably wasn't listed as an ESPN+ game when the schedule came out. We aren't very good at updating. For instance, the next games on the women's schedule that don't show a viewing option from our schedule (at UNCC, at LaSalle) are on ESPN+ when you check the opponent's schedule. The same is true for the men's games at St Mary's and UNCC.

Re: Up next: at ETSU
This game will be big for setting the tone for the rest of non-conference. If the team from Asheville shows up, we win by 20+. If the energy level drops it could be a tight, ugly game. Hoping we can maintain the momentum and show that Asheville was not a fluke.
Re: Up next: at ETSU
I know we looked good in Asheville, but 20 pts on the road seems wildly optimistic.
Re: Up next: at ETSU
1/27/2003 is one of my favorite Davidson road games. Chris Clunie was a player, Matt McKillop was spectacular that game. 24 points, featuring 6 triples in the 2nd half. The end of that season was awful (beat VMI by 35 on Senior Night, lost to them in our opening conference tournament game). ETSU won the tournament over Chattanooga, lost a close one to Wake Forest in the Dance. I'm pretty sure that was Ed DeChelis' final season. That was a good Bucs team. They beat us convincingly at our place in February, beat our win at their place was magical. It was, if I recall it correctly, the last game that Tiras Wade played for the Bucs. He'd had trouble with anger management prior to that game. Enough so that I'd nicknamed him Tirade. I believe that DeChelis pulled him after he got a technical foul in an encounter with a Davidson player (Matt, I'm pretty sure). He never put Tirade back in. Didn't play any more that year. Tiras Wade was a fine player. All conference. The new coach (Murray Bartow?) helped him transfer. Tirade became, I kid you not, a Ragin' Cajun. He was good there and had a solid pro career.

It's impolite to bring up that VMI game.
Re: Up next: at ETSU
I was there. Radee Skipworth just scored again.
