Hard to lose that game to Furman.
Also hard to lose your coach the next day. ugh. https://www.wbtw.com/news/grand-strand/ ... ead-coach/

Inevitable, but still disappointing to happen after only 2 years. Also, Gray could have done better than Coastal Carolina. CCU has never been consistently good even under Cliff Ellis (.567 winning percentage and 2 NCAA appearances in 16 seasons), and the Sunbelt is no improvement over the Southern. They must have offered a big salary upgrade, as well as access to a wad of NIL money.jamesdhogan wrote: ↑Mon Mar 11, 2024 2:56 pmHard to lose that game to Furman.

CCU a strange landing place. Salary increase without the headache and pressure of P6 high expectations?DC69Wildcat wrote: ↑Mon Mar 11, 2024 8:49 pmInevitable, but still disappointing to happen after only 2 years. I've never watched him coach so I'll take your word for it, but with one Big South Tournament title along with never winning the regular season title (one second-place finish) in eleven seasons isn't an intriguing resume.
