I apparently remembered it wrong. I remember the photos of Reggie being sexually abused by the Chapel Hill boys. Pretty disgusting. I liked the way Reggie Love played basketball. I wish he'd chosen Davidson.

I'm no psychologist, but I have had, out of necessity, experiential dealings with abnormal criminal behavior for the past 13 years. I assert that Lance exhibits many manifestations of the classic sociopath, overlaid by a veneer of conceit.

Remember, the germ theory of disease is just a theory.

Even so, the guys at bridge today said they don't plan to shake hands with one of our senators ever again.

I see no point in kickin a guy when he down, except for the strong possibility that the example set by NBC's Brian Williams may cause the Dictionary to be revised to include his name and photo as part of the definition of "hubris", and its consequences to a man's reputation.

Brian deserves whatever kicking he gets and more, but we have multiple current examples of hubris which make him a relative stick figure in the world of dictionary photos.

Military fish stories

Post by WildCock » Sat Feb 07, 2015 2:55 pm

There is a long trail of public figures of all types, including politicians from all parties and points on the ideological spectrum, who have greatly exaggerated if not outright lied about their military experience.

Well, yes, we expect politicians to lie to us. That's their job. We should expect more from newscasters.

Come on, Fran, the first two were bad enough. This one looks like a 3 Stooges skit. http://espn.go.com/mens-college-basketb ... -eye-pokes

A Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom team led by litigation partner Patrick Fitzgerald will represent the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in litigation, accreditation and regulatory matters resulting from a 2014 investigation by Cadwalader, Wickersham & Taft attorneys that revealed two decades of academic fraud at the university.

What's stupid about that? I don't know the firms or people referenced. Are they poor choices?
