My senior year I used to get paid WS to be night mgr at the union. This meant drinking beer in the 900 room and playing bridge from 10 pm to 1 am three nights a week. When one particular cute freshman girl would come by near closing time to rub my shoulders while the game was going on, I remember thinking that life was pretty good.

Four decades of life experience later, I think I can say -- hail yeah, thems was damn good times.

I get the sense that Northwestern is in the best position for him but we're working our tails off and want him badly.

Congrats to Carter Collins and his East Chapel Hill teammates. Last night, they lost to Northern Durham to drop to 9-1 in the conference. But tonight they beat Cardinal Gibbons on Carter's Senior Night. The last regular season game is this weekend against Durham Riverside.

Article updating Frampton's injury, says it first occurred last season and all he can do is rest. Hopefully this isn't a long-term lingering issue.

What is the injury? Article did not say, though in the photo looked like his knee was wrapped?
