Davidson 3 (Reed, Reed, Grant), Fordham 1
11 to 10 in wins
3 to 15 in losses
5 to 14 away from home
9 to 11 at home
14 to 25 for the season
3 to 10 in A10 losses
3 to 1 in A10 wins

The play-by-play says we had just 2 (they called Reed's alley-oop from Grant a jumper). It also calls their layup at 28 seconds a dunk at 23 seconds. Nope. 3 for us, 1 for them. Fordham did add a missed dunk on a wide-open fast break, so we could give them a -1 for net zero. But I'm feeling generous.

Official Play-by-Play: 03:15 - GOOD JUMPER by BAILEY,REED (in the paint) - ASSIST by HUFFMAN,GRANT

I think the Rams' scorer was too embarrassed to admit that Davidson was able to pull that off.
"We were in the center ring the whole night,'' longtime Davidson coach Bob McKillop said. ''We were not on the ropes. We were not on the mat. We were in the center ring slugging away, and we just ran out of time.''

ESPN game highlights show the alley-oop. Admittedly, it was a soft dunk (he dropped it in rather than threw it down), but it sure wasn't a jumper. The clip also shows Reed's first dunk, as well as Grant's steal and dunk.

Davidson 0, SBU 0 ( https://www.espn.com/mens-college-baske ... /401596904 I swear the Bonnies had one early but the play-by-play calls it a jumper.)

6 to 20 in losses
7 to 18 away from home
11 to 14 at home
18 to 32 for the season
6 to 15 in A10 losses

Davidson 1 (Brizzi), Fordham 1
13 to 13 in wins
6 to 20 in losses
7 to 18 away from home
12 to 15 at home
19 to 33 for the season

We had 2 made triples in the 31 minutes before Fordham dunked that inbound alley-oop, 4 triples afterward.

We've been doubled in the A10, tripled in A10 losses, nearly doubled for the season. And we just completed a February with 2 dunks. The 2 February dunks were from Brizzi and Huffman.

Davidson 1 (Sean), Loyola 2
13 to 13 in wins
9 to 26 in losses
7 to 21 away from home
15 to 18 at home
22 to 39 for the season
9 to 21 in A10 losses
5 to 4 in A10 wins

22 for the first 30 games. Way less than 1 per game. We were equaled, 1-1, against D3 teams. Easily our fewest dunks since I came back to North Carolina in 1992. Haven't given up a terrible number, but our output is pitiful.
