“ I thought Des Watson looked pretty upset that despite his buying into TCC, the team brought in Kochera to take his starting spot.”

T$ didn’t seem to mind when Davidson brought in Brian Sullivan.
In Sullivan’s first year playing for Davidson, both he and Kalinoski started 30 of 33 games. Tyler averaged 33.8 minutes to Brian’s 31.1.

But even if the situation had been similar, that doesn’t mean that both situations were handled the same way or both handled well.

Regardless, Des appears to have made a good decision for himself.
Des averaged a little over 29 minutes to Connors 23 last year. Des started 18 to Connor’s 15.

And the figures for Des would have skewed toward the latter part of the season, I’d expect.

The Kool-Aid list reflects publicly available sources, typically internet recruiting or social media sites (e.g., Rivals.com, Verbalcommits.com, Twitter, etc.), and published reports. The list is maintained for entertainment purposes only. It contains no information received from coaches or recruits. It should be updated approximately every five pages. For purposes of calculating open scholarships, this list assumes that reported non-scholarship players are still non-scholarship, that players in the transfer portal will not return and that no players other than Connor Kochera will take an extra COVID year. The list also now separates players who are publicly reported to visit, or have visited, Davidson.

FYI, W&M has hired Cornell's coach, so the Tribe may be going after the Cornel transfers and can offer grad school to the seniors

If the Cornell transfer players follow their coach, William & Mary could make some noise in the CAA next year.

The last D2 transfer I remember DC aggressively pursued was Duncan Robinson. He would've worked out pretty well for us

Duncan Robinson played his freshman year at D3 Williams.

He finished high school and a year of prep school without Davidson noticing he’s what we scour the world trying to sign.

His final two were Davidson and Michigan (like my youngest daughter). He should've followed her lead and chosen Davidson

Interesting delay in his release.
